On January 13, JIC Leasing successfully issued China’s First Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-city Economic Circle Asset-backed Securities (“ABS”). With the amount of RMB 1.04 billion, a term for nearly 3 years and a weighted average interest rate of 3.45%, the securities were offered at a record-low interest rate. 

The funds from this issuing of the ABS will be mainly used in green development and livelihood improvement projects in the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual City Economic Circle. It’s one of the practical actions of JIC Leasing to support the recovery and development of the real economy.

The successful issuing of the ABS was accredited to the support from the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Asset Management Association of China. Since the beginning of 2022, JIC Leasing has strengthened roadshow communications with the investors on the occasion of the issue, winning extensive acclaim from institutional investors such as banking and non-banking institutions on the market.
